DDOS SCRUBBING
The DDoS, or Distributed Denial of Service attack, is a common threat. The principle is simple: during a DDoS attack, often-infected computers send a massive volume of requests to an application or server, causing it to become overloaded and unreachable. Fundaments' DDoS scrubbing service offers organizations the necessary protection against these attacks. During an attack, the DDoS traffic is 'scrubbed.' This separates the malicious DDoS traffic from legitimate traffic, after which the clean traffic is routed to the Fundaments network. Your service, website, application, or email traffic continues to function, and your employees will notice almost nothing of the redirection.
FIREWALL
A firewall is a security system that sits between the internet and, in this case, Fundaments' servers. The firewall handles the security, filtering, and separation of traffic to your virtual environment and applications. It analyzes all data entering and leaving the Cloud environment, determining what is allowed through and what is blocked based on your settings.
BAAS
In short, a backup is simply a copy of data stored in another location, such as on a different computer or in the Cloud. Backups protect data against accidental deletion, theft, or technical issues like hard drive crashes, ensuring you always have data to fall back on.
