We are Fundaments

Fundaments was founded on April 6, 2000, by Raoul and Jeroen. Jeroen reflects: “A lot has happened since then, of course… We started out with a carpooling site called JR Online, but we are now known as Fundaments and have grown into an established name in the cloud industry.”

Fundaments operates a fully Dutch platform, distributed across seven data center locations in the East, Central, and West of the Netherlands (all above sea level). These are all Tier 3+ facilities, the highest achievable classification for a Dutch data center. Every aspect of security is covered, including guaranteed power supply, intrusion protection, water and fire detection, and climate control.

We are fully certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, NEN 7510, and ISAE 3402 standards.

The Fundaments Cloud is sovereign. This means we can offer you the most secure and reliable cloud foundation. Our data centers are geographically separated, and we exclusively use Dutch data centers. Furthermore, both our organization and our data centers meet the necessary certifications regarding information security and continuity.
