2022 was the year of...

Another year has flown by. How time flies! It has been a wonderful year. Together with our partners, customers, and of course our own team, we have experienced many great moments, and we would like to thank everyone for that.

Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur Foundation

Our collaboration with our partners (customers and suppliers) has been very pleasant again this year. We firmly believe that we can only achieve the best results by working together. After all, it is not for nothing that we say: GO BEYOND. BE THE BEST. We want this not only for our partners but also for the talents of tomorrow. That is why, this year, we are once again not giving corporate gifts to our customers, but instead donating to the Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur Enschede. This gives children who lack the means to play sports or learn an instrument the chance to develop their talents. Hattrick

When looking back at the highlights of this year, our hat-trick certainly stands out. We received three major awards in a single month—something we are very proud of. At Fundaments, we continue to innovate, and it is wonderful to be recognized for this by our suppliers.

VMware Sovereign Cloud

You have likely seen it, with the full-page advertisements in the Financieel Dagblad, Dutch IT Channel, and ChannelConnect... this year, we were the first in the Netherlands to receive the VMware Sovereign Cloud Status, and we are incredibly proud of this!

With our sovereign Fundaments Cloud, we offer our partners the most secure and reliable cloud foundation. Looking at the Fundaments Cloud, we can operate it independently and have everything under control from A to Z: from people to processes and technology. We do all this primarily to ensure the continuity of your organization.

We help our partners on their journey toward optimal data continuity and security. We do this through the Sovereign Cloud Framework.

Netherlands MSP Partner of Cohesity

Another major distinction we received is from Cohesity, a provider of next-gen data management solutions. Cohesity has named Fundaments the Netherlands MSP Partner of the Year 2022. Receiving the MSP Partner of the Year award reinforces the recognition of the partnership we have with Cohesity. We have been partners with Cohesity for five years and have grown together. At Cohesity, we find a listening ear for development requests and an actual translation into platform features. It is precisely this translation that allows us to help Fundaments' customers further.

VMware Partner Innovation Award

And as the final award in our hat-trick, we won the VMware Partner Innovation Award. This award demonstrates that we offer our partners a high-quality technological VMware platform that every partner can benefit from in an OPEX model. We are extremely proud of this award!

Container Platform as a Service

This year, we also introduced a new service: Container Platform as a Service.

As an ISV, delivering Software as a Service (SaaS) is central to your business. To do this, it is important to develop features and launch new functionalities in a secure, fast, and scalable way. You need a solid foundation for that. To properly manage a complete container infrastructure with various application functions, a management platform is required. Kubernetes is one of the most important solutions in the current market. To provide complete peace of mind in hosting and maintaining this Kubernetes platform, Fundaments has developed a new service: Container Platform as a Service (CPaaS). This allows the platform user to focus on developing application code while Fundaments takes care of the rest: managing the infrastructure 24/7 and ensuring the correct functioning of the Kubernetes components.

Saxion University of Applied Sciences

At Fundaments, we like to look toward the future, and that includes future IT talent. That is why we once again partnered with Saxion University of Applied Sciences this year. We taught a module to ICT students to introduce them to the Cloud and the latest technological developments within it. It is a fantastic and engaging project through which we aim to inspire the IT talent of tomorrow.

We call ourselves Experts in Clouds. But we are only able to do that thanks to our amazing team of over 55 colleagues. This year, we welcomed no fewer than 11 new team members, helping us continue to grow in many areas.
