On Thursday, January 28, at exactly 4:30 PM, Dell Technologies kicked off the virtual Dell Technologies Partner Awards 2020 ceremony. We were one of the nominees. The entire Fundaments team sat at home, each behind their own screen, watching the nerve-wracking ceremony with great anticipation.
The Dell Technologies Partner Awards recognize partners who have demonstrated exceptional performance over the past year. This includes achievements in innovation, deepening expertise, and the successful implementation of solutions based on Dell Technologies software and hardware. While hundreds of partners and customers would normally gather in person to celebrate their successes and look to the future, Dell Technologies had to find a different format this year. They opted for a virtual ceremony via a YouTube livestream, allowing everyone interested to be 'present' at the event. Different than usual, but certainly no less exciting.
After an hour, the long-awaited announcement finally came, and loud cheers erupted from the homes of all Fundaments colleagues. We were named the grand winner in the category: Cloud Services Provider of the Year. The other nominees in this category were TrueServer, Solvinity, and Leaseweb. By presenting us with this award, Dell Technologies underscores their confidence in Fundaments as a partner.
Larik-Jan Verschuren, CTO at Fundaments: “We have been working with Dell Technologies for over 15 years, for both server and storage solutions. This collaboration has grown into a partnership where we work together with Dell Technologies to find the right solution for the end user. The Cloud Service Provider (CSP) program has developed into a very mature program over the past few years. With this program, we can facilitate digital transformation in a fantastic way, both from hardware used on-premises and through integration with cloud solutions. Fundaments has truly distinguished itself in this area recently, not only in terms of technology but certainly also on the commercial and marketing fronts. This has been rewarded with the Cloud Services Provider of the Year award. Beyond being incredibly proud of Fundaments as an organization and all its driven employees, this prize is also a wonderful recognition of the concept of partnership: one of Fundaments' core values.
