Fundaments was founded on April 6, 2000, by Raoul and Jeroen. Reflecting on the journey, Jeroen shares: “A lot has happened since then… What started as a carpool website called JR Online has now become Fundaments, a well-established name in the Cloud industry."

Fundaments runs a fully Dutch platform across seven strategically located data centers in East, Central, and West Netherlands (above sea level). These are all Tier 3+ facilities, which is the highest standard for Dutch data centers. Each location is meticulously designed with top-tier security features, including guaranteed power supply, advanced intrusion protection, water and fire detection systems, and precise climate control.

We are fully compliant with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, NEN 7510, and ISAE 3402 standards.
