In this informative session, Martijn Groenewegen and Sander de Rijk will discuss the implementation of the Municipality of Eindhoven's Cloud strategy. They will highlight essential topics such as Common Ground, sovereignty, and the growing need to gain and maintain control over data.
About Martijn
Martijn has been the CIO of the Municipality of Eindhoven since January 2022. Previously, he worked at the Municipality of Rotterdam in the service delivery and IT domains. He established information management practices and invested in generic ICT and platforms to enable business innovation. Martijn focuses on strategy development and implementation. He has been involved in the Common Ground movement for years. To facilitate this movement within Eindhoven, he implemented a transition approach that is as integrated as possible into standard operational and tactical processes.
About Sander
Sander de Rijk is a Cloud Consultant at the Municipality of Eindhoven. With ten years of experience as an Operations Manager, he understands the complexities of managing, financing, and maintaining ICT environments. Sander advises and guides the Municipality of Eindhoven through its cloud transition toward a Multi-Cloud and Sovereign Cloud environment. He focuses primarily on the design of the Common Ground infrastructure, the setup of the public cloud, and the positioning of data and processes.
