The trend called sovereign cloud
This BUZZ-talk is of interest to IT professionals focused on data storage and management.
Dilip and Larik-Jan specifically address a notable trend: they observe that many customers want to move away from hyperscalers in favor of a Dutch provider offering a sovereign cloud. This ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, which is becoming increasingly important. This is particularly relevant for the public sector, such as government agencies, for whom keeping data in the Netherlands is crucial. Furthermore, Dilip explains what Cohesity does and how their platform provides smartphone-like simplicity. Notably, more and more customers are requesting a subscription model, wanting to consume it as a service with an SLA.
