Max and Jurgen are both graduation interns at Fundaments. While Max just started with us this month, Jurgen is already nearing the finish line. In this article, they both talk about their assignments and what it's like to carry them out at Fundaments.
Max on his graduation project: monitoring in the Multi Cloud
Hi, my name is Max Pelle and I am 23 years old. I am currently studying HBO-ICT with a focus on ITSM (IT Service Management). I have just started my graduation internship at Fundaments, which is expected to last until the beginning of November.
The project I will be working on at Fundaments is about monitoring in the Multi Cloud. For this, I am researching a potential client who wants a setup across multiple Cloud environments. This will be a solution involving the Fundaments Cloud, as well as AWS and Azure. My goal is to find a solution that is generic and therefore as widely applicable as possible.
I am really looking forward to getting started!
Jurgen on graduating at Fundaments
Hi, I'm Jurgen Kamp and I'm 23 years old. I am studying HBO-ICT at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences in Zwolle and started my graduation internship at Fundaments in January 2021. It lasts until June, so I'm already quite far along!
Fundaments wants to set up a multi-tenant Kubernetes platform for its clients who host Software as a Service. My graduation assignment is: "conduct research into the differences between Cloud platforms (Fundaments Cloud, AWS, Azure, etc.) when it comes to hosting a Kubernetes application".
The goal of my assignment is to be able to provide Fundaments with advice on the differences and possibilities for hosting a containerized application. It would be awesome if Fundaments could use my advice when implementing the final product.
I am really enjoying my graduation internship at Fundaments (despite working from home most of the time). All my colleagues are easy to reach and make time to help if there are questions or just for a friendly chat.
